We have been overwhelmed and touched by the number of alumni and non-alumni who have come forward to donate to #BreatheLife and help make a difference.
About a third of Singapore alumni have already contributed – we urge every alumnus to help out with whatever they can. Do also keep spreading the word for this cause – remember every concentrator at about $750 can save at least 20 lives in the next 100 days.
In the meanwhile thanks to the SGD 2.5 MM (1.43MM we have already received on Giving.sg and SGD 1.1MM from others and corporate donations ) we have been able to procure
- 2000 Oxygen concentrators
- 5000 Oxygen cylinders
- 8 PSAs
We are waiting to order and need another SGD 2.5MM for
- 1000 Oxygen concentrators
- 5000 Oxygen cylinders
- 20 PSAs
- … and more of desperately needed supplies
The #BreatheLife team continues to work tirelessly with trusted partners Singapore Red Cross, Temasek Foundation, DBS, ACT Grants, Swasth digital health foundation, United Way Bengaluru and the High Commission to reach these supplies quickly and safely into the most needed destinations in India.
