After completing an extremely successful stint in Singapore, Mr. Ashraf has moved to France as India’s Ambassador there. We are of course proud that Mr Ashraf is one of our own – an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad (PGP’86). The energy, passion and commitment he has brought to showcasing the potential of Indian diaspora has been outstanding. He has been a tremendous supporter of Alumni activities in Singapore.
While we were unable to do the grand farewell due to Covid, Sanjiv Aiyar, Suresh Shankar and Nayantara Bali were able to visit him and present a memento on behalf of all the Singapore IIM Alumni.
Our message to him: “Dear Jawed, we are immensely proud to have one of our own as the High Commissioner of India to Singapore. Your passion and drive to raise the profile of the professional Indian diaspora is unparalleled. We look forward to building a bridge with the IIM alumni in Europe as you move to France.
