Pan IIM Alumni Singapore has designed a new event format called IIMPulse that aims to deepen outreach into the Singapore environment and community. IIMPulse intends to enable us to feel the ‘pulse’ of this nation and stay connected both ‘within’ our alumni community, and ‘without’- i.e., with the Singapore community.
Our first event as part of IIMpulse will be the ‘What’s Your SQ’ Initiative. SQ of course implies Singapore quotient.
An initiative designed to build community ‘within’ and build Alums knowledge ‘without’ via interaction with Singapore in different ways as many of us have made this our long-term home.
It also gives the Alumni community the golden opportunity to ‘spread their wings’ locally within Singapore at a time when most people would have traditionally been travelling abroad.
The first campaign in this series would run from Dec 18-30, 2020. Format for the first event in the series is proposed as a contest with prizes where the winners will be selected on basis of community building and experience – uniqueness, diversity etc
We propose to have similar events under the “What’s Your SQ?” banner through 2021 – examples may include outreach with immigrant workers, or ageing communities, or young professionals, entrepreneurs, SMEs and other communities.
