The 2nd Annual Pan IIM Quiz was organized on Sep 4, 2021. Given all the Covid related restrictions, the quiz was conducted in an virtual format. Rahul Phondke & Rajiv Rai were the Quiz Masters.
The teams included 5 alums each from IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Ahmedabad and Pan IIM team. The Pan IIM team included 3 members from IIM Ahmedabad, 1Bangalore & 1Kozhikode.
The quiz consisted of 8 rounds with 5 questions each. To make it interesting, the questions were divided into different categories to include History, Geography, Entertainment, Mythology & religion, etc. The questions were passed on to the next team if any team could not answer in their turn. Each team was provided with a Joker which they could use for a question intended originally for them.
There was a lot of enthusiasm amongst the member participants and attendees. All attendees could also take part in the quiz through comments in the live stream. The event saw one of the highest attendances of all online events and was packed with fun and enthusiasm.
The first prize was bagged by #Quizmat Ke Khiladi team IIM Bangalore which included Sharan Makhija (2013), Arpit Nanda (2012), Swami (2006), Dibyo Haldar (2003), and Anindya Putatunda (2000).
The #PutFightJoka team IIM Calcutta was second, with Ajit Nayak (1995), Anupam Sahay (1992), Ram Shankar (2010), Pratyush (2004) as its members.
And the third place was entitled to the Pan IIM team which included Niloy (1992), Nilanshu (2001), Anirudh Ganguly (2006) from IIM Ahmedabad, Gautam (2018) from IIM Bangalore, and Utkarsh (2014) from IIM Kozhikode.
